The plot sounds interesting, people getting attacked by Ravens, like in "The Birds", but this movie seems to drag on forever. It honestly didn't feel like a horrormovie, it felt more like I was a birdwatcher or something.
I also was surprised at how stupid some of the characters were. I mean, it's not like the Ravens attack for no reason what-so-ever, it was some guy who kept throwing rocks and shouting over and over, literally begging for them to kill him.
I also thought the scene where the dog walks to the Ravens and just stands there and waits for them to kill it was stupid. Why would it go there and I'm pretty sure a dog could outrun the birds and hide in a hole or something. It just didn't seem scary at all, it seemed like the characters/ the dog asked for being killed.
The plot... if there was one moved slow and I didn't find the characters interesting. You don't really get introduced to them, who they are and what they do or what they like. You kind of have to guess as the movie goes.
The acting was bad!
Basically un-scary and after a while I lost track of the characters, so It was just seeing random people getting attacked by ravens. And the characters were constantly getting into dangerous situations to the point where it becomes annoying!
Eh. There's better to be seen from the straight-to-DVD horror flick crowd. Notable scenes: the oddly fecal appearance of some of the facial wounds, the part where the birds start throwing rocks at a stranded bus, the hilarious fake beards, and the fact that the ravens are going crazy because they've contracted MAD COW DISEASE.
Let's think about that one for a second, guys. We don't even know if mad cow disease can get to humans, let alone omnivorous birds. What would possess a bird to eat dead bovine, anyway? Plot devices suck!
dis was like 'the breed' except for birds. i've never seen alfred hitchcock's 'the birds' so i can't say if it's anyting like dat. the only similar thing i saw between both movies is da fact dat birds are attacking peoiple. da ravens in kaw are like insane. i love dis one.
Story is terrible! The ravens are not even scary. And how come the kid isn't even attacked by the ravens? So silly. Ending is stupid - the ravens "just die".
This movie is one hell of a Hitchcock wannabe. The only difference between this and The Birds... the latter was actually good. Even though one of the interesting things of the Hitchcock masterpiece was that we don't really know what is going on, this one decides to give an explanation... and what a crappy one it is. Not worth your time.
Hahaha oh I wanna c this so bad! I mean just reading the cover (whilest adding the claw and Janice´s voice) "Ka(aaaa)w! don't look up!" gives u high expectations on the movie.
As the music came on and an image of the first scenes started to show I didnt know what to expect... a monster, a killer, an animal?... no a kaw! this movie so lame, "fear the ravens". I have two words for this movie: "Come On!!"
