Its not a bad film - but of the three main characters the two male leads are just not sympathetic characters. Its hard to believe they are the good old friends the story requires them to be and the key.. its hard to care about the outcomes that they create for themselves.
Hilarious, Old fashioned and romantic, everything I'm looking for. Cast is perfect for the characters, especially Norton. A wonderful first directed film on his part take as well.
a little boring in some parts, but i absolutely loved it!! SO FUNNY!! and EDWARD NORTON IS SO FRICKIN HAWT!!!!! i felt so bad for him in this movie tho.. it was sad.. she was STUPID.. she shoulda fallen for edward norton!!! hes WAY WAY hotter!!!
about two friends growing up ones a priest and ones a rabi, then their old chum anna reilly from 8th grade meets up with them and feelings start, the two guys like her. and there's trouble (like there allways is) :). its a nice, sweet, actually really funny film.
good cast, the three main actors are great, it all flows. and i cant believe norton can do rom-coms,:) . ben stiller's funny as ever and just an interesting film.
Actually really liked this movie.
It's just such a sweet and simple story.
I love Edward Norton and he done a good job with this.
There's just nice wee funny moments through out the film. Good film.

I have been in love with this movie for a long time. After watching it again last night I am reminded why.
This story has so many layers:
Secular messages and the trials and tribulations of inter-faith relationships. The importance of good friends and long-standing friendships. Priorities, what is truly important may not lay in the direction you have been facing for so long. The importance of Love.
The performances are heartfelt. The chemistry is fantastic. The humor is strong as are the messages, but none of this is overbearing.
This movie just feels good all the way through and speaks to following the heart not the paths that others might set for you.
As a romantic comedy this one definitely still sits up towards the top of my list.
I found the whole Rabbi-Priest thing peculiar, but that was about it. I thought it was very unrealistic and not even close to comical. I mean neither the rabbi nor the priest had any restraint. I'm also not a big Jenna Elfman fan so that ruined it for me.
The story of three best friends involved in a love triangle when their emotions get the better of them. One of the earlier Stiller flicks. Edward Norton is adorable.
Cute, warm, witty. I enjoyed this film. I'm not a big Ben Stilerr fan, but all in all I didn't mind him. It's an interesting unique story that I really enjoyed. It has you smiling and laughing at some parts and sad at others. The ending is obvious, but it's a love story. I really liked watching Norton in something lighter. And I don't think I've seen Elfman in anything else. The end drags a little bit, but overall an enjoyable sweet movie.
This was so much fun to watch. I especially loved it because I could almost watch the entire thing and not get angry at Ben Stiller for his irritating voice and look. There's just something about that man that likes me as little as I like him. Pity, because Edward Norton makes it so funny to watch!
