Brutal, raw and shocking drama about modern day high school kids and the terrors that surround their lives. A scarily authentic cast bring the stark realities of this story to life quite wonderfully. Englands teen culture truly appears to be a dark and depressing environment. The...( read more) sheer multitude of issues raised is eye opening as everything from teen suicide, pregnance, drugs and violence is portrayed in an all too real way. Highly recommended if you have the stomach for it.

An impressive (almost too realistic in parts) gritty Drama. Noel Clarke wrote and Acted in this film which shows a frightening reality and insight into the teen culture of England.

Nothing is hidden in this raw peek into a world, some people are completely oblivious to.

    Looking forward to 'Adulthood'.

A great role played by Ami Ameen here, he stood out against all the others.

Grimly depressing tale of lost innocence which one hopes is grossly exaggerated for dramatic effect.

Gritty - british "Kids" without the harder references and sex scenes. I really liked it. wanted more... like a series maybe? Looking forward to Adulthood now.

Once you get over the ingenious title of this film you can sit back and enjoy watching a a load of scummy shit heads act like twat-ends. The film certainly has enough talent behind it, at least in the acting department. Its desire to shockucate (like shock and educate, I'm still ...( read more)impressed by the title of this film) is a bit desperate at times. These characters are mostly embarrassing to watch, this may be what it's like in the real world but that's just as embarrassing. The editing and handling of issues is also poor, with every time a gun or knife is handed over we get loud ominous music. Should have shoved in a bolt of lighting and some thunder as well. There's enough to enjoy, but it seems to be a film about kids for kids. In fact I preferred it when this film was called Kids, at least those characters has an essence of humanity to them.

An interesting look into the world of teens on the verge of adulthood. There is a lot of slang and teen talk in the film which will put off some while the full-on scenes of violence and sex may also put off others. However, the film has a good plot with interesting characters.

They have the whole film on BBC iPlayer at the moment. If you haven't seen it before then I recommend you do now. It's nice and gritty and has quite a few moment where you think 'ooh'. Some of the acting is superb and you really get an insight into what their lives are like. It h...( read more)ad some really good scenes and some nice camera shots. It's kinda hard to explain. It's just a great film to watch.
