Studio Ghibli's last production of the 80's and another Miyazaki film set in Europe. Although it's a fictional Europe, in which WWII never happened, the way Miyazaki's animation - besides gorgeous to look at - is so accurate portraying the cities' architecture is simply amazing. ...( read more)

One of the very best in Miyazaki's astounding collection - Once again, proper dubbing to English is supplied, and you are captivated from beginning to end by something completely harmless and just plain good.

April 3, 2008This to me was a feel good kind of film but it did lack some of the magical presence of being a witch. As she is just starting out and trying to find herself I def can relate. My favorite character was the cat and of course the maid for "Debbie Reynolds" character. This film was so heartwarming and touching to watch, and had some great messages of life along the way. With all of Miyazaki's films you wont be left disappointed but.. wanting More and More...

May 5, 2007I like this movie too. I think that cat is so funny when he sees a can of cat food and on it is a black cat and he says, "Kiki look its me"!
