Another Crying Woman legend (la Llorona) film from Mexico. The far-fetchedness of all that went on at Km 31 didn't bother me but the ending seemed more like quitting than ending. I deduct a point for that and give one back for Iliana Fox's engaging performance. Keep an eye on her.

The only aspect that makes this film worth watching is that it breaks all limits in common Mexican filmmaking, specially among the horror/fantasy genre. Even so, it is typical Hollywood-wanna-be crap.

So derivative, bland and shite I stopped watching after 45 minutes. And I made it to the end of both Dead Silence and Rich Man's Wife in the same week.
One of the better Spanish films I had watched, apart from devil's backbone and Pan's Labyrinth.
