Nothing like latin horror movies, this one was the "La Llorona" story. super scary... in spanhis need to describe it like: que susto tan hijueputa, hahhaa
The only aspect that makes this film worth watching is that it breaks all limits in common Mexican filmmaking, specially among the horror/fantasy genre. Just because of that is worth checking out. Even so, it is typical Hollywood-wanna-be crap.
A not original ghost story, horror movie.
Really not scary and some times its really stupid.
the acting was ok but the screenplay was not that good.
waste of time.
Based on a painting (According to IMDB), this sad attempt at trying to remake "Ringu" and "The Skeleton Key" only supports the theory that the disease for desperately making bad remakes is infectious among countries. Not even the cinematography and the acting can make up for what it has done.
A mexican attempt at milking the cow of the Ringu/Ju On horror vein with very poor results. The story feels just way too familiar for anyone who has seen at least one or two of those type of flicks. Forgettable and generic, mexican horror films of the 60's had way more visual creativity than this.
La copia mexicana de Ring, filtrada con la copia gringa. Lo siento pero dos copias (ambas chafas) pegadas juntas no suman un acierto.
even though the previews showed that it was going to be a scary movie, when watching it you could prefeel what would happen and to me it was a hilarious movie rather than a horror movie
It's A Good Movie, It Takes Mexican Cinema To A Whole New Level. And This Is A Story That People In Mexico Can Compare To. The Story Of La LLorona. The Crying Woman Who Drowned Her Children And Still Wonders Along The Rivers Looking For Them. Great Special Effects.
Me parecio una pelicula mas o menos, no esta excelente pero es la primera mexicana cursionando en este genero asi de esta magnitud asi que por eso me agrado
After the tragic death of their mother when they were children, twin sisters Agata and Catalina Hameran developed a special skill, a way of communicating without speaking, a "link" between them. After a mysterious accident on Kilometer 31, Agata falls into a coma. Catalina, thanks to their "link", feels the pain and tragedy that her sister is going through at the time of the accident. Following a series of supernatural events, Catalina realizes that their "link" is stronger than ever and that her sister Agata is screaming for help from her unconscious state. Catalina is now determined to find out what really happened to her sister in order to help her wake up. Nuño, Agata's long time friend, and Omar, Catalina's boyfriend, agree to help her. But they soon find out that not only is Agata in a coma, but she is also trapped between reality and an ancient legend, the legend of La Llorona

This movie is soooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo scary!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! You will get astonished for sure!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Like most of the horror films, Km 31 is not for thinkin, it's only to feel the fear and, for us the mexicans, to see the best special effects in owr film industry. I didn't like the plot nor the characters but I enjoyed the photography and the film became interesting since the moment when the story takes place at the sewer (at the end hehe)
A refreshing change in Mexican motion pictures! In my opininon the plot, quality and effects are up to worldwide standard, comparable to the US version of "The Ring" or the Asian horror flics that started this trend. It is a must see!
i'm interested in mexican or other spanish speaking movies.. and when i heard the sad n creepy song called 'la llorona' by chavela vargas, it makes me interested more to watch this movie, anyone in Jakarta, please let me know if u have this movie ok so maybe i could borrow from u..
this movie proves that mexican film industry can make good movies. Although the story have some holes and the continuity sometimes fails, it was a good attempt of a horror movie. It has some similarities with the japanese horror movies such as The Ring and The Grudge by using kids as ghosts or spirits.
Nice try! It seems that mexican thrillers are finally finding their way back to the theaters. They STILL have a lot of work to do, but this movie states a high standard for upcoming fearute films.
