    Taken out of Kinski's imposed context this is a fine piece of erotica if not a brilliant film. Taken within that context it becomes a fascinating, though grandiose, piece of self-analysis as well. Unfortunately it came on just before Kinski's death. A fine way to go out, but it s...( read more)tands as Kinski's only credited writing and directing work and compels us to lament his death before he could accomplish more.
