|
Plot: Devereaux, an eccentric creator of an amusement park's life-like cybernetic creatures, tries to clone the rock group KISS to aid him in his evil plot. The glamsters themselves must save the day.

MCT:July 10, 2007The opening scenes with giant KISS members playing behind the amusement park rides was superb. I remember this being an awesome superhero movie with KISS members having great adventures. When I rewatched as an adult it was lacking in enough fun. It sounds like great campy fun, but KISS is not in enough scenes, damnit! When they do appear, it's awesome beyond belief. Their dialogue is beautiful to the ears. I also remember KISS appearing on a Donnie and Marie Halloween Special.

MCT:September 28, 2008It gets the rating it gets because of how truly awful it is, but in a fun way. This evil scientist who works at an amusement park makes robots for the park. When his evil doctor license is revoked, he takes revenge on the park. Kiss, who at the time were the biggest rock band around, happen to like to play at Six Flags like parks instead of stadiums. They also have super-powers and talk with reverberated voice! Anyway to cut to the chase, Kiss befriends a bland couple, fight evil robot versions of themselves, stop a riot, and rock out. Look out for some of the action scenes, where clearly a black guy with an afro is doing the stunts for Ace. Rock & Roll all night and party everyday!!

What can I say, Cheesy Rock and ROll Movie by the mother of all sell out bands. Worth a watch but it's no Hard Day's Night
