Daping despises Haili. It was Haili who wandered out of nowhere into Daping's life, destroying any chance of a serious relationship with Chen Jin. Haili bullies Daping mercilessly for her efforts in trying to be a kind and honest person, so when Chen Jin leaves Haili pregnant and alone, the mother-to-be thinks her life is over.
