GREAT movie, we enjoyed it!!!!!!!!
It was a... weird movie. I don't really like Nicholas Cage and I didn't really like this movie. It kinda reminded me of the Simpsons episode when Homer thinks he has predicted the end of the world. I may watch it again but not for a while. Maybe If I can't remember what happened. And the cycle of confusion will begin again
This was a great movie if you believe in angels as our "beings" that overlook us "human beings". The universe is full of energy beings and the only way to try to explain this to humans is utilizing an outer space ship to transport us. You have to look at the movie in a different way. It is not destiny, however; all of human beings have a purpose and talents and the future time frames were that child's gift of "knowing". A must see if you open your mind.
I liked the movie. its like an interpretation of the bible from a different point of view. Maybe Jesus was an alien. hahaha.
Nicolas Cage as an actor is almost as good as Keneau Reeves
in the hang dog sad face that does not change from scene to scene. His monotone droning made his "acting" is laughable.
This is not a happy move from the start to the finish.
Now that I know about Knowing I wish I did not.
kl movie but i expected more then that.. the things abt numbers and dates and location etc.. it was very good and mysterious.. i just didn't like the end :S .. it seems like something fantasy .... aliens .. i hate movies abt em ...
S an overall, its a captivatin movie. The way they cast it n keepin u in suspense regarding the numbers tt's related to all the catastophe. But i cant help it but to tink that the director/producer is relating God to extra-terrestrials esp at the part whr caleb n abby were leaving wif them. Notice how the forms of the aliens seems to have "wings"?? Kinda remind me of an angel...LOL. N the endin whr caleb n abby came back, wats wif the acacia tree (if i'm not wrong abt it bein acacia). Its so "adam & eve" all over again in my opinion. But i dun get the rabbit part...wat have apocalypse or a new earth gotta do wif rabbits? Any 1, any idea??
A very good Nicolas Cage movie. One of the biggest reasons I went to see it was because of him. I love him and he is a great actor.
Although I would like to talk about how Nicolas Cage has not aged very well and will not look good when his hair is gone, I must say the predictableness of the movie almost turned me away from it in the beginning.
I'm normally good at reading movies anyway but this one was especially predictable.
Not only were the commercials a big give-away but about half-way through the moive, the ending was easy to see.
Despite the predictableness, the story itself was very sci-fi with a tough of fantasy in the whole number reading thing.
(spoilers) It has a sad ending becuase everyone dies but lovable characters which the directers and writers used to make an easy tear-jerk at the end.
It almost got me...almost. If I hadn't been so concerned with critisizing the movie, I would've been sucked in myself.
All-in-all, I was moderately impressed but only
" You know i'm so happiness my weekend . I'm recenty watched this filmed on rite thier at the nicer SFX CINEMA . You know so fantastics a lot of effected lit, colors ,sounded on the filmed . So much excitings with 'em actions on the filmed . I'm never watch it like that before .So rite now if the earth goings on like that .How 'll you do? . Have you watch it? "
im looking forward to see this movie if its already available here in our country!

The numbers also foretell three additional disasters and the last one hints at global destruction.
John then embarks on a race against time to alert the authorities of the impending catastrophes but will they believe him ? And what happens after they run out of numbers to decipher ? These are some of the questions that are addressed in this film .

Fast forward 50 years to the present: A new generation of students examines the contents of the time capsule and the girl's cryptic message ends up in the hands of young Caleb Myles. But it is Caleb's father, professor Ted Myles (Nicolas Cage), who makes the startling discovery that the encoded message predicts with pinpoint accuracy the dates, death tolls and coordinates of every major disaster of the past 50 years. As Ted further unravels the document's secrets, he realizes it foretells three additional events-the last of which hints at destruction on a global scale and seems to somehow involve Ted and his son.
When Ted's attempts to alert the authorities fall on deaf ears, he takes it upon himself to try to prevent more destruction from taking place.
