Although the major vanished @ the end of the 1st GITS film, this doesn't seem to stop the creators in managing to respawn her as a slightly different character helping section 9 track down the Puppettier.

Another great installment from Kenji Kamiyama, and his Stand Alone Complex.
Solid State Society might just be an extra long TV episode, but when your talking about a TV series that's as good is Ghost, your 're talking about high-end story telling brilliance. -
