When this came out I heard nothing but praise for it, and I think it lives up to it. The director stylizes it a bit, but allows for an actual plot and character development, and the titular Kraken looks fairly good, most of the time, the score is easily the best part about the mo...( read more)

if they had negative stars this film would earn it. the worst hour and a half of my life (save Doogle) it unfolds slower than a soap opera.
