The princess Anna consistently laughs off her would-be suitors until one day she insults a king from a neighboring land by telling him his beard looks like a thrush. At that point, her father becomes so angry he forces her to marry the next man who shows up -- a beggar, as it turns out. Anna has no choice but to go live with the beggar as a poor and humble woman -- and to her credit, she realizes how arrogant she once was and regrets it very much. But the story does not end there, for Anna has a surprise waiting for her when the true identity of the beggar is revealed. ~ Eleanor Mannikka, Rovi
