In addition to a blatant disregard for gravity and other physical laws, this film revolves around a popular genre theme, a battle between warriors from different schools and styles of kung fu. At the heart of the conflict is a magical sword; when the family of a young boy is murdered by villains who want the sword, the boy is taken in by his great uncle (Hung).
