That was a cool film.Truly engaging spoofs and a hilarious combustion to normality,but for all you out there,the age of Shrek is over.Dreamworks really needs to invent some fresh materials,the whole cycle around a Chinese mythology advertisement isn't compared to what Chicken Run did.
While I was not the most excited to see this movie (hence the reason we waited til the cheap cinemas) I surprisingly enjoyed it. The underlining lesson of the story was good. And I have to say there were a few times that I was laughing harder than the kids. Almost embarassingly more!
Probably the best Dreamworks CGI movie they have ever done. It is the original, unique story that takes the front to all the well known actor voices, and that is the way it should be. The jokes hit their mark, the action scenes are almost breathtaking, and the visuals are clean and crisp.

I found this movie very entertaining. While it may be more of a kids story it still has enough sophistication for adults to enjoy it. The voice work is very well cast and done. Jack Black is hilarious and reigned in enough that he doesn't overdo it. The movie is worth seeing whether you are an adult or kid
Dreamworks has hit another home run with their newest box office sensation, Kung Fu Panda. In itself it has one of the greatest ensemble casts for an animated feature ever, including Jack Black, Dustin Hoffman, Angelina Jolie, Lucy Liu and many more. The animation and computer generated features in this movie are just staggering, its amazing how far we have come with it in the last decade. The story was entertaining, and although this film was aimed for a young audience it is thoroughly entertaining for the whole family and is truely a likeable film to watch. From start to finish i was entertained and was not dissapointed by this one at all, a great watch for anyone who enjoys a good laugh and watching truely brilliant animation.
Kung Fu Panda was a very fun movie to watch from start to finish. The whole cast makes it a very fun movie. Between Jack Black, Seth Rogan, Angelina Joline, Dustin Hoffman, Jackie Chan, and Luicy Liu playing the voices of the characters it was fun. They had many funny moments that they shared. I think that kids would especially love this movie. Even older kids and teenagers can enjoy this movie. I sure do know adults that take their kids to see it will have a fun time. Its fun to relive your history and go back to movies like these. Jack Black was perfect and was a riot in this. The facial expressions he makes pretty much will make you laugh out loud. When I had first seen the trailer to this movie it didn't seem to catch my eye but after the good reviews I went to see it and it was really good. Their was a ton of action for younger kids. It wasn't to long so you don't have to sit through a long movie. Overall this was a very fun family comedy. GO see it if you like animated action movies. This is a real gift to see. This is coming from someone who doesn't care for animated movies. So for me to like this one it means it has to be good. They also made the panda and other characters look very good. Overall a great animated CGI film. GO see it you wont be disappointed.
Nicely animated and hilarious at times. Unfortunataly there were long moments were nothing really interesting happened so perhaps they should've put less money on voice actors and more on improving the script.
this movie was so funny and great. everytime i see a panda, it would always remind me of this movie and of course of jack black. this guy really cracks me up even though sometimes i see his acting to OA but still he is next to my list to jim carey as best comedians of all time. :-)
This movie was hilarious, cute and smart. Not to mention it has an excellent cast. A long time fan of Jack Black, I didn't know what to expect from an animated movie starring him. But I was happy with what I saw. Very, very good!

I definitely enjoyed this movie. I was on an animation-watching bindge after seeing Wall-E, and Kung-Fu Panda did not dissapoint. The all-star cast lending their voice did an excellent job, especially Jack Black, who ruled as Po (congratulations, there is now a level 0) LOL. Great story, great animation, great characters and some extremely funny moments. A movie the whole family can enjoy...
For many years, Dreamworks tried so hard to match Pixar quality, but they didn't get even close to the genius animation company. Since they big hit "Shrek", Dreamworks was faded to produce flicks stuffed with pop-culture references, vulgarity and lazy creative process, pratically devastating such promising plots as "Madagascar" and "Over the Hedge" and knocked out some terrible movies like "Shark Tale". But now, for the first time since "Shrek" they made it! They achieved glory again but without their awful gimmicks and pasteurized stuff. "Kung Fu Panda" is a warm, philosophical and funny (not vulgar, finally Dreamworks!) flick that will entertain kids and adults. If the company continues to produce great works like "Kung Fu Panda" they will be able to come close to Pixar. Because every step forward of Dreamworks seems like 5 steps of Pixar ("Wall-e" anyone?).
I really enjoyed this movie. I thought it not only was a very funny and entertaining animation movie but it was a nice homage to martial arts movies. I felt like some of the voices were sort of wasted (especially Ian McShane) but it was not enough to make me not find this movie very entertaining. Jack Black fit perfectly as the panda. A lot of fun for everyone which is what I think they were aiming for.
A funny movie with great animation and some fantastic acting talent in the line-up. But not as hilarious as I was expecting - although the slap-stick moments were very well done with some brilliant comic timing.
I thought this movie was boring, but it caught my attention from the start to the end. I like how the Chinese traditions and belief were featured in the movie. I can watch it over and over again.
