MCT:August 30, 2008Steve Oedekerk, the man behind the thumb, is one of the rare, all around comedy talents of today. He has such a fantastic way to make fun of whatever he tries to make fun of. He takes what people know about a certain type of film and completely turns it in his favor. More will come later.

Some of it is too stupid and some of it is really funny and perfectly spoofs cheesy old martial arts films, so my rating averages out to a middle-of-the-pack 3 stars.

Stupid, NOT funny. The baby intro made me laff, but Steve Oedekirk should just stick to writing/directing & give up acting.

I've watched it heaps of times and it never gets any less funny than it is - and that's funny! One of my favourite movies and one of the funniest movies I've seen. I highly reccommend this movie to anyone with a good sense of humor.

MCT:June 6, 2008This is an obscure 70s kung fu film redubbed and digitally screwed up with random weirdness, poking fun at the whole genre. You either get it or you don't. I've never laughed so hard in a theater.

I don't like the idea of making a film over a film, but this one, with the purpose it had, made me glad and almost made me laugh. Crazy and stupid all the way.

I'm a big fan of spoofs; this one is a unique addition to my favorite spoofs list, but certainly worthy. Sometimes a bit too silly, but taken as a whole, this movie is hysterical.

this is the best kung fu film ive ever seen, and its really funny. all voices & the main actor is steve oedekerk. a must see.

Brilliant. Not since the Kentucky Fried Movie have I laughed as much at an action flick spoof. The poor dubbing was done intentionally and the voices filling in was just as bad. It is hard to choose which moments were my favorite, but sadly, the cow fight scene was not one of them. Better than most parodied films.

This was the stupidest movie I have ever seen in my life! Ling was really scary becasue she was always taking her clothes off and in the movie evryone had weird voices, I mean what ws up with that. I didn't get why the one guy had his big toe cut off and then later in the movie his whole foot. Master Betty was really stupid because every time he fights someone he plays music on a boom box adn boom boxes weren't even created then. The only thing that I really laughed at was the one boob chick that was pretty funny.

MCT:May 3, 2008wow ummm this movie was pretty stupid. i prefered Kung-Fu Hustle. it was pretty funny though but it's kinda insulting (to traditional, more awesome, asian kung-fu action moves), outrageous, and insane. poor cow.

MCT:April 14, 2008I watched the first half hour and it was pretty funny, genuinely, but it lost its roll and its atmosphere and I was continuing to snore throughout, I was extremely bored by the time it reached the end. To pull all the tricks in the book, it eventually spiralled into a dull movie, we know this is how it was done, but you do it without the badass quality of the old cinema.

This one is truly underrated. Its absurd and wacky. A better parody than any Wayans brothers or Wayans brothers spin off attempt at spoof.

I remember going to see this at the cinema and being shocked at how many people actually walked out! This is such a ridiculous movie you can't help but laugh!

MCT:January 25, 2008If you already laugh at badly dubbed Japanese movies that aren't supposed to be funny, then you'll find this movie hilarious. It's got some good laughs and fairly funny suprises around every corner. The humor fits in well with every shot taken from the original movie and the whole thing is edited seamlessly so that it's hard to tell what's been added. Except when it comes to people. Then most of the time it's very obvious. But the special effects aren't very important to the story, but when they do pop up, they just add to the humor at how terrible some of them are. This film is good for some great surprise laughs, so what you think will happen, probably won't. So if you want a mindless comedy then check out this movie. It's a whole lotta nuts.

This is one heck of a funny film, that is so stupid because it's funny! This film is really good and one that makes me laugh! Steve Oedekerk did a great job!
