Standard film, mediocre, nothing further, worth one watch or two.

this movie is so funny it will make you cry, however note that it must be watched with a group, do not watch by yourself.

This movie would be 5 stars if they had just made the whole movie as a remake of the old chinese film. When they throw in the modern actors and stuff its not nearly as funny. I seriously laugh so hard every time i watch this movie though, I love it.

Kung Pow! Enter the Fist is the greatest! They took a few old martial arts movies, re-dubbed the dialogue and digitally inserted the star Steve Oedekerk and a few other interesting "creatures". It's a classic, with scenes like the cow battle and the baby escape. The whole movie has a strange brand of humour that you either love or hate. Weird stuff happens for a reason. They did a good job of assembling it all into a semi-coherent plotline. I didn't get all of the jokes, but it was a fun ride. It looks like the sequel is going to happen.

Not even close to great, but better and funnier than I expected, which admittedly wasn't very much.

Such a terrible, terrible film. The concept behind the movie is good, taking an old movie and contorting it into something new, but ultimately the execution of this film does not fill the potential. When watching the film you will constantly ask yourself - why? Why was this film made, why did they include this scene, why am I still watching this tripe? Steve Oederkerk has some talent, which is shown in other films, but as a director and actor in this film he is terrible. In the end, Kung Pow is a film that utilizes mindless, pointless humour to rarely get laughs. Avoid this film, it's not so bad it's good, but rather so bad it's....well really bad.

Unique, a break from the mold of "cookie cutter" boring comedies.

This is an obscure 70s kung fu film redubbed and digitally screwed up with random weirdness, poking fun at the whole genre. You either get it or you don't. I've never laughed so hard in a theater.

I feel so guilty rating this with 3 stars, but Im gonna be honest its so freakin daft that youll just have to laugh! Its mindless, but its not like one of those forced comedy movies that gives you a migrane or a headache.

Right, just to defend myself from yall, I didnt watch this out of curiosity, I got forced to watch it, lol!

I know you stoners like to think this movie is funny because it's exaggeratedly dubbed, but you really should higher your standards a bit... seriously.

Steve Oedekerk, the man behind the thumb, is one of the rare, all around comedy talents of today. He has such a fantastic way to make fun of whatever he tries to make fun of. He takes what people know about a certain type of film and completely turns it in his favor. More will come later.

"A man once told me there would be a chosen one."

Flashback: "There will be a chosen one."

"Then, he told me of the significance."

    Flashback: "It will be significant."

    "Then, he killed the dog."

Some of it is too stupid and some of it is really funny and perfectly spoofs cheesy old martial arts films, so my rating averages out to a middle-of-the-pack 3 stars.

I love old kung-fu movies and this movie added lots of laughs to that. A little over the top but sure to bring you to laughter.

Great concept, but it needed somebody like Michael J. Nelson to effectively riff the old kung fu movies.

Stupid, NOT funny. The baby intro made me laff, but Steve Oedekirk should just stick to writing/directing & give up acting.

I've watched it heaps of times and it never gets any less funny than it is - and that's funny! One of my favourite movies and one of the funniest movies I've seen. I highly reccommend this movie to anyone with a good sense of humor.

I don't like the idea of making a film over a film, but this one, with the purpose it had, made me glad and almost made me laugh. Crazy and stupid all the way.

I'm a big fan of spoofs; this one is a unique addition to my favorite spoofs list, but certainly worthy. Sometimes a bit too silly, but taken as a whole, this movie is hysterical.
