OMFG FRICKIN AWESOME!! DIDNT HAVE N E THING TO DO WITH THE ACTUAL DEATH NOTE OR KIRA AND DOESNT RLY FIT INTO THE STORY LINE BUT IT WAS AMAZING!! I LOVE L!!! of course u cant rely on my opinion cuz ur talking to the worlds biggest L fan!! :-D

L Change The World, is a spin off to Death Note, in this film we watch how L is recruited to save humanity from a deadly virus . This film is so different to Death Note because it doesn´t have any suspense and the story is so predictable and boring.
Two Thumbs Up to Ken'ichi Matsuyama´s performance.

After minute :
A disappointment Death Note spin-off . After watching the smart and creative Death Note & Death note : the last name . L : Change The world disappointed me , L & K just like a "chasing each other" rivalry and Kenichi Matsuyama didn't work the character L as good as before so unnatural and way too annoying .

His accomplices are two young children--an English-speaking boy who's the only survivor of the virus infected Thai village, and a Japanese school girl who's the child of the professor who developed the virus antidote.The Review Story :
Very manga-ish story and very guessable or predictable . Well , the first and second Death Note are really wicked , "fancy" and smart , if you compared with this one . It's so so different .
Directing , cinematography and lightning :
Nice and comfy , the whitish view are super-enjoyable , it's very very clean . Well ,there's some blood spilled there . But , it never effected the clean lightning and cinematography.
Script :
(again)too manga-ish . Exmp :"You are "Near" because you always near saved people" -L Lawliett- Score & Soundtrack :
"Lenny Kravits - I'll be waiting" really matched with this movie . L's 23 days before death story is alive more because of it's average score .
Casting :Kenichi Matsuyama as L surely the best actor here . He made L alive in expression and body language but surely an annoying voice .

Overall :mangaish and boring . L : Change the world should be named L : Save the world and the best part of this movie is only it's clean and white lightning and cinematography . -

Good adaptation and creativity but some parts of the plot is stupid. (spoilers) At least they show Near, L's successor even he is way different than the book. The girl has Mello's characteristics as well.

this movie is not as brilliant as "Death Note" ,but yet, it is not as confusing as "Death Note" as well...
The character "L" is the man to watch, acting is not bad, but still the plot move kinda slow...

L is back. This time, doing a solo without Light. Yes, ?L change the World? is a spin off from Death Note which tells a lot about L and how he uses his last 23 days to solve one more case. I must admit, it is worth watching if you are really into L?s character. If you are looking for a good storyline? this really isn?t one of those as many things doesn?t make sense. This movie really shows of more of L?s soft side. Oh? I love how he tempt the kids with sweet stuffs. Aw? now I gotta get myself some candies.

L was a created hero, yet they successfully made it convincing. He's a character from Deathnote, but in this film, I liked it that they made him like normal person just doing what he thought he's supposed to do, even though he knew he'd die in 23 days. This time he's trying to save the world without much help!

it's kinda weird...cause i'm used in seeing L in both the death note movies...this movie is kind of...ordinary really with an eccentric as a hero...and him doing action stuff other than living in his safe office? it's as i said...weird...overall its quite okay...not memorable though...

A fine prequel for Death Note fans.Although the story may a little different from other Death Note Movies,it also have it's potential to keep up the genre.
The story revolves around "L",a strange mastermind trying to save mankind in a period of 23 days after he wrote his name on The Death Note.Hence,the story is completely based on the last days of "L".If you're a fan of seeing that Emo guy doing crazy stuffs on screen,this Movie is a must-see.
Although the storyline is predictable & not much of suspense,the remarkable performances & heart warming scenes can easily fill up those messes.Highly recommended for Death Note fans,a well made Japanese thriller good enough to keep both Cinema ticket & DVD voucher in your pocket. -

This movie is nothing like its series Deathnote. Nothing to do with notebooks nor Death Gods. However, it shows the unique character and habits of Detective L. Kenichi is a good actor. Bravo. Though storyline was not so much of suspense.
