Hilariously awful. Between the goofy score, Donald Pleasence's inability to pronounce the hero's name properly, the fact that Donald's surname is misspelled in the credits, and what are possibly the poorest special effects ever seen in a superhero movie, this film's hour and a half of riffing by Mike and the 'Bots was well-deserved. "Pu-ma man! He flies like a moron!"

Donald Pleasance sure made some strange choices for roles during his career. What the hell was he thinking doing this bunk?

Just saw the MST3k version, and I gotta say this was one of the better movies playing. (Is that saying much?) Even if the guys at the front weren't there I still would have laughed at a lot of this movie: the falling/flying "SFX" in this film really, really suck. So much so I can't even be bothered to think of a smart adjective. So yes, unintentionally amusing, don't bother with the real version though.
