Can remember too much about this film.. but I can remember that I've seen it a couple of times.. or at least a lot of part from the movie on the television.. =)
Influential French action film...copied many times, including the American Point of No Return (good remake)...I have yet to see a Luc Besson film I didn't like.
I loved Luc Besson's work on Fifth Element and the Assassin is one of my all time favorite films, so i HAD to see this. It's pretty much exactly the same as the american version....just with subtitles and less hollywood 'gloss'.
A french flic, for my fellow french speekers. It is an amazing goverment film, (not made by the goverment, stupid. the genre!) It is touching and reviving. I recomend it highly. Some bordom.
The return of the noir genre modern and hip. Well dubbed for those who don't like subtitles. Parillaud channels her inner Audrey Hepburn. Great preformances from Reno, and Karyo. Worth rewatching.
Victor, nettoyer. Was he a government cleaner? He was so gangsta (in a good way)! There should be gangsta/govt trading cards for serious fans of espionage.
--French Movie-- Not a big budget movie but a really nice story and great actors. That's a woman in action, a woman every other one dream to be like. Sexy, dangerous, with a LOT of attitude. The dream of guys ;)
Waaaay better than the American version. I saw this one first and was blown away by Anne Parillaud's performance. So much to say with her face and her eyes but not too much dialogue. Good action too.
it has to be the french original for me. Assassin was based on this and nowhere near as good. Grippingly realistic. Turned into a series with Peta Wilson starred in league of extraorinary gentlemen
A French cult film classic about a heroin addict turned international assassin. A must see for anyone who likes to see women in strong rolls with big guns.
Bein Fait...cette une belle film...plus milluex de la version american (NO Way Out?) I bought this gal as an assasin more than I did the gal in the American version
