A good story to curl up on the couch to watch and surprisingly good when nothing else is on to watch.
Very slow?..still you can watch it. One thing for sure I will be more cautious when I drive.
A little slow to start, and the two storylines feel a bit disconnected, but ultimately it's a really interesting heartland drama with a few nice little twists. Great performances from Spacek and Romijn. How Troy Garity doesn't get a lot more work is unfathomable to me. I've only ...( read more)
Sissy and Troy are good but the screenplay is rather scattered not leaving them with much to work with although they do have one good emotional scene.
Hackneyed dramatics insult some quality work by Spacek, though she seems to be falling prey to typecasting lately. Garity and Matthews both show flashes of potential, and Romijn is effective. Unfortunately, the production values scream "student film!"
