This movie was pretty messed up. Jackson did a really good job with his character - he was very creepy. It was a good thriller.

A good thriller about a black racist cop who happens to be the neighbour from hell for a young inter-racial couple. It's an enjoyable film and the tension between the two lead characters is good as the incidents between them escalate throughout the film. It reaches a predictable ...( read more)conclusion in a bit of a rush towards the end, but it's still a worthy watch.

Lakeview Terrace became confused on whether it was a thriller or a social commentary. If the film had stayed more true to the thriller genre, it would have been much more interesting. The actors gave the film a good shot and it was nice to see Samuel Jackson do a bit more than ...( read more)phone in his performance. Overall, it is watchable, but the delve into social commentary and a poor ending lower it's score.

Could have been better, but was terribly paced and just seemed to go on and on.
Defintly an interesting and well written story, but takes to long to get to the end result. If it had moved a little faster then this "thriller" could have been a little bit more thrilling and intere...( read more)sting.
Acting is fine by all. Jackson and Wilson manage to butt heads and create plenty of racial tension to keep you watching. Jackson manages to have the right level of creepiness and not-so-nice-guy-next-door appearance to make him pull of the character well.
It might be worth watching once if you're really interested to see it in the first place, but if you have no interest to begin with then you shouldn't feel bad skipping it.

"Is that a 'We Are the World' f***k you?"
"No. It's a special one. Just for you."
