Yes I have to say I was disappointed but really not surprised that it didn't produce any movie magic whatsoever. I give them credit for trying but they really should have given the whole project to a more experienced director and definitely should have casted some better actors with more "emotional oomph" shall we say. It had so much potential and it's a nice story but it just didn't deliver at all. It's unfortunate because I love romantic civil war dramas. Mickey Rooney was the only character who showed any life and he was laying on a bed "dying." LOL!
