While there is not a whole lot that is original, it is still a lot of fun for horror fans. More specifically fans of Giallo and/or 70's exploitation/horror.

  It's not for everyone but I thought it was a nice reminder of old school Italian horror with shades of Hills Have Eyes and Chainsaw Massacre thrown in. Makes me miss the 80's. More.

  This is part of the new Ghost House Underground Collection. Don't think its the best one of the collection, the dub in voices sucked, sounds like the same people who dubbed the early asia kung fu flix. To me this one was a dissapointment, and in no way compaors to the 1960 - 1979 Italian Horror flix that are out there. I'd save my money and rent this one. You will not find it in my collection.

  Gross, unsettling exploitation film with an interesting premise that perfectly captures that old feel of the 70's. The gore is good and it delivers a lot of it. If you're a fan of those old movies, you'll like this.

  The Last House in the Woods follows a couple that run into some trouble on the side of the road from a few thugs right before things get real worse for the girl a car pulls up with another couple inside willing to help they take the pair to there house in the woods thats when the fun starts cause this isnt your regular couple they have a deep dark secret hidden in that house and all hell is gonna break loose. Reminded me alot of Last House on the Left with some Texas Chainsaw also some Hills Have Eyes thrown in the dubbing is kinda bad on this one but the gallons of blood and gore make up for it still only 3 stars cause ive seen it all done before and alittle bit better worth a watch though. Another release from Ghosthouse Pictures.

  Excellent, balls-out, insane horror flick that harkens back to the Italian films of yore. Non-stop fun from beginning til end. If the rest of the Ghost House Underground collection is anywhere as good as this one, Raimi and Tapert will have finally lived up to their promise.
