Last Wilderness
This 42-minute documentary showcases the bow-and-arrow prowess of championship archer Howard Hill. For the most part, the film follows Hill and big-game hunter Ned Frost as they embark on a hunting trip in the Wyoming Rockies. The twosome take time off to participate in an annual rodeo in the town of Cody, then continue their hunting expedition, bagging several impressive (and unendangered) species of birds, bears and elk. Radio announcer Gayne Whitman provides the narration. The Last Wilderness was produced by Jerry Fairbanks, later one of the pioneers in television film syndication.
