Since the team does not play their normal characters, and Hardy treats Stan terribly, many fans dislike this movie, but if you overlook that fact, this is still a very funny film. Director Emmet Flynn had worked in silent films a long time but did not get along well with Laurel and Hardy and the Hal Roach team. This would be his only film with the team. ~ Bruce Calvert, Rovi
