Law and Disorder
Good performances by the leads in this movie can't take away from the fact that it doesn't seem able to make up its mind whether it wants to be a drama or a comedy. When Carroll O'Connor, a taxi driver, and Ernest Borgnine, an ex-marine turned hairdresser, decide to take back the neighborhood, they form a civilian vigilante police group which, unfortunately, creates more problems than it solves.

Critic Reviews from Rotten Tomatoes

"Law and Disorder is truly one of the the great, overlooked gems of the 1970s. It's a gritty, funny and well-observed comedy-drama that perfectly captures the urban disillusionment of lower middle-class lives. An absolute must-see."
‑ Chuck O'Leary, Fantastica Daily
