Critic Reviews from Rotten Tomatoes

"A witty drama filled with clever little vignettes explores the disturbances that can rock a marital relationship when change takes place in one partner."
‑ Frederic and Mary Ann Brussat, Spirituality and Practice
"Instead of stressing the farcical potential of Nico's mid-life crisis, the film becomes an uninvolving melodrama which lacks dramatic tension."
‑ Richard Porton, Film Journal International
"begins to seem like a Buñuel-influenced trip into Jung. The film has that sort of funny-but-not-really tone."
‑ Arthur Lazere, culturevulture.net
