  TCM 3 returns to it's more serious roots. It's not gory like the previous sequel, not even close, but it does feature some gruesome graphic violence (the UNCUT version shows a lot more). The film does take itself seriously for the most part, but it's never that scary. It does offer some interesting, twisted characters and some neat action but it lacks any originality. It offers nothing new to the table. It has many unintentional, funny moments and tons of great one-liners, as well as some bloody kills, but the story gets tiring somewhere down the line. The best way to describe this movie is to say...it's pretty "cool". But that's not saying much. You've seen this shit all before, nothing's going to make your jaw drop. It's a movie that you'll enjoy but you'll also forget about it a week later. It's a decent, but forgettable film. What I did enjoy however is the way the film plays like a survival guide for people who might find themselves in a "horror-like" kind of situation. And the traps in the woods were very cool. The family members (other then Leatherface) were all different, which kind of throws the story off because it's never explained. But they were still a wacky clan, and although not as menacing, I had fun with the psychopaths. Their family dinners are much more dysfunctional than mine, and for that I applaud them. I recommend this only for hardcore horror fans or fans of the series.   Leatherface: Texas Chainsaw Massacre 3 builds on the humour of the second and the violence of the first film, and brings this entry to a whole new level of gory violent fun. This is a pretty weak entry much like the second one, but still due to the violence and gore, it's still pretty cool, and fans of the first two will probably enjoy this one too. The soundtrack of the film is a hard rocking with great tunes by Hurricane and Death Angel. Leatherface is definitely back in full force, and murders his victims with relish, and does what he does best, makes masks with their face skin. Leatherface: Texas Chainsaw Massacre 3 is a decent entry in the series, but is not the best. The film is also not for the faint of heart, but to those who love gore, this film is for you.

  It?s a bit rubbish. The second one was bad but it had a certain charm to it, this one is just crap. Leatherface is scary enough without adding more to the character. He didn't need the leg brace to squeak every time he was coming after the victims, I feel the makers missed the point in that. Leatherface is a bulky and awkward man who doesn't creep around, you can see him coming a mile off but he will still get you! Also, the red neck family are rubbish too. The little girl is a bit creepy and the use of Grandpa, a rather frightening character from the first film, is ruined by the fact he is dead, removing any ounce of fear he might have projected. I know the family of red neck cannibals are, how should I put it, 'uneducated', but I'm pretty sure after years of murdering people they would know when someone is dead or not. A lazy film, don't bother with it unless, like me, you are too stubborn not to see a franchise out to the very end. If you do choose to watch it, watch the original cut version, it has a better, less 'happy' ending.

  This version of the family is interesting and devilish - particularly the gas attendant and little girl induced shivers for me. The mother character is the most original and perverse. It's fun to see Aragorn kicking around campy horror. My biggest problem with this movie is that Leatherface does not appear solid and large enough in wide shots (most of the killing shots). Some padding could have fixed this lack of mass problem easily. Far better than TCM 2. The grotesque credits alone outshines the entirety of Eli Roth's repetitive reel. Plus horror darling Ken Foree makes an appearance as a survivalist trying to outwit the Texas gang. If Leatherface was just a bit bulkier, this would be nearly on par with the first film.

  A different part of Texas than the first two films. Leatherface is living with a crazy new family. There's a great kitchen scene. They do a lot to set up the creepy Texas country-folk with a sleazy gas station scene. There's plenty of action. The plot feels a bit incomplete, even with the Un-rated version. The production quality is good, but the story needed to be a bit more personable. I liked that crazy woman who had been hiding in the woods for a week. That little evil girl with the sharp-toothed doll was awesome. The bitchy Texas mother with the voice box scared me. Some of the crazy Texans had beards this time around. The trailer mis-represented this as the ultimate Texas Chainsaw Massacre movie, but it wasn't; that honor still goes to the first.

  Second sequel to what is possibly my favourite horror film. In this one, a couple on a road trip are terrorised by the infamous family not long after bumping into 2 of them at a gas station. Simple as that! But if your a fan of stalk and slash stuff then you'll probably enjoy this as it has its share of gore and disturbing moments. Better than the second but it seems the first will never be bettered. A decent cast also with Viggo Mortensen and horror legend Ken Foree.

  No continuity to these movies now (which bugs me) but this one is definitely better than the second. Take it for the horror flick that it is and not much more and then it's ok.
