Sassy postgrad Elle Woods (Witherspoon) is all about animal rights. In fact, she puts her nuptial plans on hold to head to Washington D.C. to get an anti-animal testing bill passed. Her building's doorman (Newhart) quickly shows her the ways and workings of our nation's capital.
Actually, I think the idea for making the sequel for the first movie is ridiculous... But what I see after watching this movie is it's not that ridiculous... Even it's a little weird but I think the story just okay, just a little question with the addition for the title, Red White & Blonde, just a weird addition... Reese Witherspoon still looks good as a 'town barbie' from a law school, but this time she made it to the Washington... From the ending, I didn't hope for another sequel of this movie, especially after Reese got an Oscar...
This is in many ways a terrible, terrible movie; it's so bad that in the scene where the protesters are marching for animal rights, you can actually see Luke Wilson rolling his eyes while he chants along.
But I can't hate it. Elle Woods is just too lovable of a character, very well developed by Reese Witherspoon and fun to watch. The movie is deliberately and clumsily zany when desperately reaching for laughs, but is actually really funny in its more muted gags, particularly the lampooning of congressmen and women.
It's cheesy, sure, but it's great fun to get behind an idealist; throw in great performances from legends Sally Field and Bob Newhart, and you've got a great hangover buster.
hehahe
i know many of these type of people
they think that if you plug a hair straightener into a tree and wait for a thunderstorm, it wil work!!

legally blonde comes back for a second installment. as much this was good. had some of the old actors/actresses which is always nice to see in a part 2 of a movie. elle as always is adorable and funny
Reese Witherspoon is back as Elle Woods. in this movie. she get the chance to go to Washington dc to help find her dog's mom. so she goes to where they are keeping her dogs mom. Elle finds out that they are doing tests on her & other Animals. so she gets this bill passed to stop the test on Animals. if you like reese witherspoon . you will Like legally blond 2! this is one funny movie to add to your List!
Reese Witherspoon is immensely talented, so it is a shame to see such skill go to waste on this dull, ridiculous and ultimately embarrassing film. The first 'Legally Blonde' I liked, not so much that I was overwhelmed or enthralled, but it was enjoyable and it did the job it was supposed to do. One of the key factors that made it work, too, was Witherspoon's ditzy and quirky creation of Elle Woods, who is almost possible to dislike. However this lame sequel positively brings out the worst in the character, so by the end I was certainly beginning to find her irritating, at the very least. But the character is the least of the problems. The script is dull, full of clichés and tries to tackle a serious issue but only with soppy sentiment and no reality - the film fails to recognise any form of logic or fact, and gets so tangled up in the extremely one-sided debate it begins to forget the humour, and so jokes are few and far between. You laugh at the senators bawling their eyes out, but for all the wrong reasons - to say the film misses all the notes of true comedy is a sore understatement. What is meant to be funny is unconvincing, one-dimensional and embarrassing and what is funny is meant to be adorable, or sweet, or moving. It doesn't work because, frankly, the script doesn't care. This is a money-making machine for the institution because the first film worked, and so why waste time actually bothering with interesting characters or plot? Animal rights is a real, important issue, but here it is just a plot device in a lame, insufferable comedy that is best left forgotten.
I got really disappointment I expected so much better movie, and it's curious 'cause this time they had Sally Field,It was a great cast,I don't understand what happens..bad movie!
