I'ts a shame that Ridley Scott's impressive visuals are overshadowed by a mediocre screenplay; nevertheless, I always yield to fairy tales surrounded by darkness.
When I was younger and things didn't have to make sense it was amazing. Now its a semi entertaining movie with amazing make-up effects.
Amazing make-ups and visuals that unfortunately didn't elevate this very jerky picture to the rank of "Lord of the rings" made by Peter Jackson. Just a passable entertainement!

Underrated fantasy flick with Tom Cruise. This blew me away when I first saw it from the stunning sets to the score by Tangerine Dream and the memorable performance by Tim Curry as the Devil.
