DO NOT SEE THIS MOVIE!!!! THERE IS THIS PART HALFWAY THROUGH THE MOVIE THAT IS SO BAD I HAD TO STOP THE TAPE AND IT WAS EXACTLY AT THE SAME SPOT WHERE THE LAST PERSON STOPPED THE TAPE. I KNOW CAUSE I MARKED THE SPOT.

MCT:March 7, 2008I sat through about 20 minutes of this crap and shut it off. It is not worth the rental fee or the trip to the rental place. If you thought the space one was bad well this just is the worst like I said they needed to stop after part 2.

This fifth installment to one of my favorite horror series is actually one of my least favorites. It doesn't have the same humor and feel to it like the other ones do. But it was still very watchable and I wouldn't mind watching it again.

Okay, enough of that crap. If the above diatribe of overblown and ridiculous racial stereotyping is up your alley and you?ve just been aching for a horror flick where everyone is ?the Token Black Guy? and every other word of dialogue consists of ?bitch?, ?muthafucka?, and other similar things that I?m just not going to bother repeating here, then Leprechaun In The Hood just may be your pot o? gold. Needless to say, it?s no work of art, and at times is just a complete mess, but if you can get down with some gangsta hood humor that goes extremely heavy on the stereotypes (but at least has the common decency to make fun of itself), Leprechaun in the Hood hits the mark just often enough to be entertaining for those already hooked on the amazingly durable horror franchise, or for people who have somehow managed to find any sitcom that ever aired on the ?WB? network funny. As for anyone else? it?s probably best just to keep as far away as possible from this pile o? Sheeeeit. -

I really cannot believe I once sat through this entire movie. It was so poorly made it hardly registers as a real movie. It is not scary at all, nor is it funny in any way.

MCT:August 26, 2007The Leprechaun is back once more and this time he's taking on rappers. I was a bit disappointed with this film as our dear little friend didn't really get to show off much of his magic, nor did we get to see any imaginative deaths. There are couple of entertaining moments in the film such as the first meeting between the leprechaun and Ice T which is amusing, and seeing as Freddy has done his own rap I guess it was time that our Irish friend did the same. To be honest I think they should have called it a (w)rap at four films.

This movie is nothing if not hilarious. Still awful, but hilarious. Best scene: "Look, it's Coolio!" (You're most likely not going to watch it and know why this is so funny, but you're probably better off.)

As far as plot goes, I'd say 0. But for memorable lines and laughable characters, it's pretty amusing. Leprechaun is a straight up G.

Terrible acting and an even worse storyline that isn't worth 2 cents makes this the poorest of all the Leprechaun series. Obviously the only reason I watched this movie was because of the leprechaun, and the scenes involving him did not disappoint as they were very funny and bloody. However the problem lies in the lack of those quality scenes. The majority of the movie is based around the actual storyline and the conflict between all the guys in the hood which personally I was not interested in whatsoever. So even the mighty leprechaun wasn't enough to salvish this movie.
