MCT:June 30, 2008This is a good movie one where it just hooks you in and keeps you going. Not only that but it has the same humor and action as it's predessesor. Though this movie delt into peoples emotions more than the first one.

MCT:June 11, 2008Well, I never expected it to be as good as the first one but alone it is still a very good action cop film. The chemistry between Mel Gibson and Danny Glover is still as strong as ever, which is very important for a film like this. They have to be believable as partners and they are very much so. The responsible one who just wants to go home to his family at night, and the dangerous one who just wants to take any risk necessary to catch the bad guy. Perfect combination if you ask me, because you get plenty laughs out of the situations they get themselves in as well. Definatly a really good film that is worth watching, especially if you liked the first one.

For South Africans, the best joke of the movie is that this action movie was directed by a guy with a last name of 'Donner'.

Inevitably not as good as the first. Still easily second in the series, and still an enjoyable watch, as the Gibson/Glover buddy cop partnership comes into full blossom.
