"... quilty. - You mean guilty?"

Watch two annoying men, whom you've got no interest of, hang out in prison and swindle (that's a cool word) their way out of prison.

I'll admit, there's some funny scenes but they're more of a reminder of something funny I've seen earlier in oth...( read more)er movies.

Well I love Dax Shepeard and Chi McBride...they've done some really good stuff...but it wasn't as funny as I hoped it would be. Man this had a lot of potentional...but it was just slow. 1 1/2 hours of wasted time when I could've watch something actually funny.

Was I expecting Shawshank, In The Name Of The Father or Animal Factory from this film? Of course not just hoping it was funny. It has moments thanks to Will I need a better agent Arnett but those laughs are not much and there's no reason why I should forgive the filmmaker for how...( read more) dull this was.

John Lyshitski (Dax Shepard) is a young guy who's spent most of his life in prison, blaming the judge who continuously sent him them, he hatches his plan for revenge. But he dies three days before he gets free of prison, so John decides to go after the judge's son, Nelson (Will A...( read more)rnet of brilliant "Arrested Development" fame) John's plan is to frame Nelson, get him sent to jail, and then get himself sent to the same jail to bunk with him, which he accomplishes. But things don't always go as planned afterwords though. Not that's it's the most marketable picture. It's not light enough to be a straight forward comedy, though it's not that dark. Darker than most comedies, but compared to Very Bad Things, it's nothing. Although the tone is never quite perfect, the film is nonetheless hilarious throughout most of its insanely brief running time. Dax Shepard, Will Arnett, Chi McBride, Bob Odenkirk, and David Koechner are all very funny in their roles and appear to be having a good time with their parts. Odenkirk, obviously working with a low-budget and limited resources, directs admirably even when it is obvious even wasn't given complete creative freedom. movie was also cute in a sense, with a happy sappy yet also depraved ending. I don't know what else to say about this movie except to just give it a go, I seriously don't know who wouldn't find this movie funny. It's just plain silly.
