A promising jingle singer, Nikita Choudhury abandons her once-promising career to settle down and start a family with Neil Basu, an ambitious young ad man who recently accepted a job transfer to Kolkata. For months, Neil has been preparing for an important presentation that will secure his position as vice president of the company he works for. But lately Neil's busy work schedule has left no room for Nikita, who suffers her loneliness in silence while trying to find work.
