This movie supprised me. I rented it not knowing anything about it and loved every second of it. The end almost had me in tears.

A good film that gives a true feel for life on the bayou. The last of the filming was completed 31 days before Katrina wiped out the compelling landscape that had made the story what it is. It adds a poigniancy to the tale.
