i thought that this was going to be better than it was. josh hutcherson did ok. not his best and his crying was terrible!!! the girl though did pretty good. i just kinda think that would be weird to fall in love at such a young age!! id have to wait a while but that's just me. i like how they take karate! and its funny when hes says that tim or tom, whatever his name is, is the ashton kutcher
happy ending story about 10,9 years old boy... little boring but i really liked the part when boy's mother says: I know, honey. Love sucks. That was so funny, lol.
how boring......................... i couldnt get pass the boredom in the first quarter of the movie. so i didn't bother watching till the end. maybe ill try again next time.
This is one of the most honest love stories I have seen in a while. While it was a bit dramatic and very funny, it came from a child's point of view therefore making it innocent and natural. I enjoyed this a lot.
Plot: New York City is the most romantic place in the world -- even if you're only 10 years old and falling in love for the first time. That's what young Gabe discovers as he pursues the object of his affections, his classmate Rosemary. The romantic comedy is about life, love and the Big Apple, as seen through the eyes of a fifth-grader.
Completely charming! Generally I find love stories schmaltzy and corny, but I think it?s because this movie tells the story of a 10 year old boy?s first experience with falling in love which allows it to avoid this trap and just be really sweet instead. The dialogue is also very good - very snappy and ?New York?. By the end of the movie I was LONGING to be ten and living in the Big Apple!
"Love isn't about ridiculous little words.
Love is about grand gestures.
Love is about airplanes pulling banners over stadiums.
Proposals on Jumbotrons.
Giant words in skywriting.
Love is about going that extra mile, even if it hurts.
Letting it all hang out there.
Love is about finding courage inside of you
that you didn't even know was there."
this movie is good, and its good in the end how his parents get back together, but the only problem with it is that she's like 'i'm not ready to be in love'. that just spoils the movie! not saying it was bad just the ending could have been better
This Story Speaks about my life a little bit. the way boy speaks everytime in his heart, think twice before doing something Taking girls hand in his hand uknow. Every thing is perfect in story also
Love this movie..
The kind of film Woody Allen would have made when he was a kid. Charming, endearing and funny in the way it ridiculizes the effect of being in love, by making us look at it through how we felt when we were eleven.
