Maybe I should see it again, but I found it to be nowhere near as funny as it was hyped up to be & was actually kind of stupid, not to mention overated!

August 29, 2007WOW..where do i begin? lol. this movie is by far the best one ive seen all year. i actually bought it and i dont buy movies like ever. and the only reason i watch it is to see Paul Dano. yep he is handsome..i'll say that much.
so do yourself a favor and see this movie! -

First of all,in the beginning it shows that Frank(Steve)hasn`t seen Olive or Dwayne in a long time and tries to figure out more about Dwayne.They show Olive`s innocence when she can`t believe a person would actually end their lives and that a man would love another man.Frank has a huge curiosity when it comes to why Dwayne decides not to talk anymore and thinks it seems like a total mystery.Even though Richard always complains about how much of an asshole is his father little does he know he is just as bad as him but in different ways.
Olive feels pressured by her father because he always wants her to be a "winner" and she looks up to her parents so it seems that she forces herself to practice everyday because she doesn`t want to be a "loser"because she thinks her father would hate her.
