Unfortunately, the poison fails and and only places Victor in a death-like coma. He can see , hear and feel everything but can't move - even during his autopsy. It's enough to drive him insane and out of his coma. When Victor escapes his grave he traps Elizabeth and Roman in his mansion's secret chamber so he can exact his tortuous revenge.

    A surprisingly enjoyable movie. Of course, Living Death isn't any sort of masterpiece, but the story and gore are quite enjoyable and make for a competent revenge flick. The only major flaw I found was the decision to paint Victor as a villain and Elizabeth as a sympathetic vic...( read more)tim of circumstance, when the film's story and portrayal of its characters has carefully lead us to feel the opposite way. Still, it's a decent movie, and it certainly wouldn't hurt to take a look.

    A very horrible film, but surprisingly I found it entertaining. I like a movie with blood, gore, and torture. The husband was an asshole and I think he deserved what he got....but it would have been smart to try to kill him in a different way, but his wife and lawyer were stupi...( read more)d fools who did not think.
