WOW! To get a glimpse of the story, put your cursor on the movie cover. It gives a good summary. This is a powerful movie with some very finely drawn characters with some serous real life issues.. My favorite line: The minister's wife goes to a neighbor to complain about the very large nude statue of David she has in her front yard. She suggests that the neighbor move it to the back yard where everyone won't have to see it. The neighbor responds, :"That's how you deal with life, isn't it? Move everything you don't like out of sight and refuse to discuss it." Very good movie!

This is a very poignant drama which follows three stories. One of a young gay guy with HIV who wants to save turtles, one of a preacher's wife who misses her son, and one of a woman who misses the child she gave up for adoption. I thought it was really well done, and it's based on a true story, which I believe it did justice as you do feel for all of the character's one way or the other. I'm not surprised that it's the preacher who comes off worst, as religion has blinded throughout the years.

I would not watch again. There is a gay theme to it, but I have to admit the storyline was good. But all the same . . . I wouldn't recommend it.

Well its best to try and not figure out what happens in the end when you start watching. A nice relaxing movie dealing with people and how one dececision affects them all, and no its not like Crash. Tess Harper does a wondeful job playing a ministers wife with great character development throughout the flick. Overall a really enjoyable movie, not exactly a happy movie but a good one.

A good movie which could have been a lot better if it were not so confussing. Wasn't until the very end that I realised it was set over different periods. Oops, silly me.

Quiet and touching film. Handles the three different stories very well. Good acting all round, particularly Bonnie Hunt and Michael Kelly.

Featuring Prince Humperdink as a southern fundamentalist preacher. I suspect Gilder had something to do with his son's demise.
