Lone Wolf and Cub: White Heaven in Hell is the last and arguably weakest part of the series. It starts with a series of false starts, is a bit light on the fight scenes (most of them end way too quickly), a few lapses in logic (i.e the hot tub scene) and offers an uninspired, dated and completely inappropriate score. The cinematography as always is great, namely during the two bigger battles and offering mystical adversaries was definitely a cool switch up but you can kind of tell why the producers pulled the plug on the series after this entry. White Heaven in Hell definitely isn't the best part of the Lone Wolf & Cub series but if you've seen all the others you may as well see White Heaven in Hell. I watched all the earlier entries in the series a good 9 months ago and intentionally put off this last one because I didn't want it to end. And ironically there's a small part of me that kind of wishes I left well enough alone.
