Fast-paced crime drama in the vein of other milkyway productions. To is just producing, but he projects his love to Macau in every frame. Gorgeous shots of the night life, scenes that even make dust look like if it was snow covering the characters. The frantic script never takes a second to catch is breath, and sometimes that works against the story. Many times is hard to tell who is working for who, or what exactly is going on and why. Tony Leung shows that he can play ambigiously moral characters pretty good, Ching Wan Lau plays one of those characters that truly deserve all those "badass/cool" adjectives you could think of.
Once more, because of the sometimes confusing pacing the climax feels that comes too sudden, and has little or no impact. The story also uses some coincidences to move things. Overall, not a total waste, but too unpolished to escape it's flaws.
