  A slight improvement over the 2nd film, but that doesn't say much. It's good Feldman links the 3 films, but have to say his acting is pretty poor. Nice the story is centered around him more in this one. The plot is a bit silly but the effects of the Vampire kills are ok and very Blade like, along with the Vampire club idea. There are a few flash backs to the original and a nice tribute scene to Corey Haim. A better sequel for the fans than the 2nd film, but still quite average overall.

  "You'll never grow old, and you'll never die." Well, at least the second part of that entreaty from 1987's <i>The Lost Boys</i> continues to hold true. With <i>Lost Boys: The Thirst</i>, gravelly voiced nostalgist Corey Feldman return for a third time to, uh, stake his claim upon a "franchise" that shouldn't even be one. A cut above 2008's bloodless second stab, <i>The Tribe</i>, <i>The Thirst</i> at least benefits from putting Feldman (and returning original Frog Brother Jamison Newlander) centre stage. So, if you can ignore the charmless directing and inept plot, there's a thin thread that can be traced to the first film. Any goodwill is all courtesy of Feldman, who's made this needless threequel feel somehow personal, from the comic-book store locale and references to old characters, to an unexpectedly moving scene that pays tribute to Corey Haim.

  This movie was way better than The Lost Boys 2: The Tribe but not as good at the original, The Lost Boys. They had a lot of scenes from the first one and the theme song, Cry Little Sister. It was actually pretty good. Sad in a way, it made me miss Corey Haim.

  Now yes I know your all thinking this is just a straight to DVD fast produced mess BUT its actually not a bad vampire flick, nothing too original of course but better than the second for sure. The franchise has definitely taken the 'Blade' route for this outting and to be honest its not too bad a rip even if the whole look, soundtrack (very nice selection and reminded me of 'Interview with the Vampire') and style is so ripped its painful hehe but it does work nicely and its good fun seeing the Frog brothers back together. Plot wise its not that original as the boys just go after the head vamp as you would expect but there are afew nice little twists at the end with characters, a good tribute to Haim with closure for him, previous characters and a great Wolfy concept to follow on with it seems ;) nice but again not very original. A good finish to the trilogy but a fourth is tempting after seeing this but maybe that shouldn't happen.

  This third installment of the series, Lost Boys: The Thirst, is a solid and thrilling adventure. The story follows vampire hunter Edgar Frog who's hired to save the brother of a famous novelist from a potential alpha vampire. Corey Feldman leads the cast and delivers another satirical and campy performance. This film, unlike the last one, makes a concerted effort to tie into the original Lost Boys and extends the mythology of the series. Additionally, the special effects are quite good and create some new and interesting vampire kills. Though the low-budget nature of the film shows through at times, Lost Boys: The Thirst is ambitious and full of action.

  I just can't help myself when it comes to this series. Ever since the original Lost Boys I've been hooked and can't help but commit to every sequel afterwards, no matter how kitschy or corny. Corey Feldman can still commit to his character. He knows the series is tongue-in-cheek and doesn't take itself seriously, so you can tell he's pretending to. It purposely has a B-movie feel to it, but I still find it entertaining and am still glad to say I saw it. If he makes another one, I'll be there to watch, lol

  An interesting installment in the hunting excursion of the Frog Brothers (who are once again eradicating the world of vampires). After a D.C. hunt goes bad and saving the life of a human, Edgar loses his brother, and fellow partner, Alan. Venturing alone, Edgar deals with the loss of his close friend, Sam, and his brother, Alan. He continues to seek counsel, and inside tips, from Alan (whose now a vampire in hiding) when he is offered a case presented by a young woman who is claiming to search for her brother who was abducted by a band of vampires. With the help of Zoë ( a fellow comic book store owner), Edgar researches into a peculiar vampire practice- a sacrifice that is ultimately designed for an alpha vampire. Learning that eliminating the leader will enable Alan to return to human form, Edgar and Zoë take upon Gwen's offer to rescue her brother. With several hidden truths, Edgar is up against an interesting fight for his life (including that of Alan's). An awesome homage to the late Corey Haim's Sam is portrayed throughout the film, and the fantastic camaraderie between Alan and Edgar is phenomenal which now will be more interesting since it includes new pal, Zoë, in the bunch. Corey Feldman, Casey B. Dolan, Jamison Newlander, Tanit Phoenix, and Joe Vaz. Worthy!

  Actually not as bad as one might have you believe, Corey Feldman adds on more layers to Edgar Frog and it's pretty fun to watch. I wanted to see how they would connect the ending of Lost Boys 2 and the tragic passing of Corey Haim, or if they would at all, and without spoiling anything they very nicely pay homage to Haim who played Sam in the original Lost Boys. I honestly wouldn't mind seeing more of these films, call it a guilty pleasure if you will. But I'd watch more sequels if they came out.
