Helen plays Helen Martin, a young woman solving a case of kidnapping. The victims are Mrs. Arthur Standish (Olita Otis) and her young daughter, baby Alice (Lassie Lou Ahearn), and the kidnapper is Mrs. Standish's estranged husband (Fred Church). African-American comedian Martin Turner added a few light touches and the comedy-drama was directed by Miss Holmes' former husband J.P. McGowan. ~ Hans J. Wollstein, Rovi
