Louise is working several jobs as a cleaning woman and lives in her car, but raising enough money for an apartment always seems to be just out of her reach. As Louise tries to hold on to her dignity, she stays one step ahead of her bill collectors, dodges the police, uses her favorite bar as a mailing address, and stays in touch with the local social service agency in hopes of finding a subsidized flat, but her circumstances only seem to become more difficult with each passing day.
