How can people say that it's a bad movie? I watched it when i was feeling a bit down a I felt really happy at the end, it one of those films that you can watch again and again and never get tired of, it's so good, especially the bit with Rowan Atkinson, so funny!

Truly, madly and deeply, the worst movie of that year, possibly of the last five years, the movie by which I hold people who love it with deepest of suspicion and a shade of pity. One is tempted to fall into hyperbole with this divisive, sick-makingly maudlin and dishonest piece of rot, but the major sinners lie in the screenwriters cut-and-pasting together all their story ideas into a disconnected lumbering beast, the director for calling in major favors from many talented actors, some of whom retaliated with the worst performances of their lives (looking at YOU Liam Neeson--and I'm surprised I have forgiven you). Perhaps most offensive was that plotline with the child, where in a fit of Hollywood necessity he runs through security, after the opening monologue talked about 9/11, and tramps towards his lady love. Every grain of respect I may have had for the movie fell away in that moment, though don't get me wrong--that's not the only reason why it's bad. But I've run out of space.
