    Keren.....bisa jadi pilihan fim indonesia, saat film yang lain sibuk berlomba bikin film musiman. Membuka kenyataan dari sesuatu yang diwajarkan oleh sebagian orang, polygami. Film ini membeberkan segala bentuk alasan untuk polygami dengan segala bentuk perang bathin dari wanita...( read more) yang menjadi korban polygami. Ternyata Agama kadang hanya dijadikan tameng untuk mensyahkan semua.

    Wow! Berbagi Suami is easily the best Indonesian movie todays. Superb screenplay! Rich dialogs. Strong characters. Interesting acting. What more can I say.

    menurut gue ini film skenarionya bagus sekali!
    jd kerasa nyambung aja satu sm lain. dr adegan satu ke...( read more) adegan lain, tp ga ada yg terlalu dipaksakan jg.
    ya ada beberapa adegan yg menurut gue agak dipaksakan, tp ga masalah sih krn hampir seluruh film ini, terasa apik plotnya.

    gue suka filtering warna kekuningan di ceritanya Shanty. menurut gue itu adalah pembeda yg cemerlang untuk membedakan cerita pertama, kedua, dan ketiga dan memang filtering di ketiga cerita itu berbeda satu sama lain.

    dialognya natural bngt! jarang2 nemu film indonesia dengan dialog senatural ini. tp gue agak ilfil dengan kehadiran Reuben yg menurut gue agak2 terlalu "ringan" auranya untuk film seperti ini. filmnya sih ga berat2 amat, malah byk konyol2nya. tp gue rasa ada aura yg cukup dalam yg ga matching sm kehadiran Reuben di film ini. dialog antara karakternya Reuben dan Dominique ttg Gong Li itu agak2 corny menurut gue.. dan LUCUNYA, itu terasa corny justru di saat Reuben berbicara ttg kenorakan suatu film.

    mungkin hal ini agak tipikal bagi Nia Dinata ya karena gue menemukan beberapa kali dia mengkritisi film2/sinetron di dalam film/serialnya dan menurut gue ini kyny udah kebiasaan yg lama2 akan terasa bikin mls. tp untuk film ini, termaafkan deh.

    acting-nya juga natural. Ria Irawan ga berlebihan di sini. dia bs tampil lebih apa adanya, sebagai sosok yg less cynical (unlike yg biasa kita liat dr seorang Ria Irawan di TV). dalam arti.. gue merasa karakternya berhasil disampaikan dengan baik tanpa kita terpengaruh sm sosok dia yg udah begitu kental personality-nya slm ini kita liat. kritik gue mungkin cm buat Rieke Dyah Pitaloka yg di bagian belakangan dr ceritanya mulai terasa agak2 kehilangan sosok karakternya sendiri. tp links yg diharapkan ttp terasa.. ada detil2 yg dimunculkan di bagian depan dan tengah film yg terasa sekali korelasinya dengan byk bagian di bagian belakang filmnya dan ini bagus krn ga byk film indonesia yg bs dieksekusi secerdik ini.

    Bigger Picture
    Salma is,a gynecologist who had questioned the morality behind the practice of polygamy and had secretly wished it wouldn?t happen to her own marriage.But, her wish remains just a wish. As a faithful Moslem, Salma accepts her fate to have a polygamous husband.

    Siti is a Javanese village girl who has high hopes for a better life in the metropolitan city of Jakarta . Her dreams are shattered once she realizes that living in the slum of the city in a polygamous household of her own uncle will not take her anywhere.

    Ming is a waitress in a famous roast duck stall in downtown Jakarta . The cook becomes one of the men who date Ming regularly. But he cannot stand the fact that he does not win Ming?s exclusive attention.

    Berbagi Suami,or in English,"Sharing Husband",not "Love for Share" actually, is a heavy satire of the most disturbing phenomenon here, in Indonesia.In Indonesia,where Poligamy is everywhere,Nia Dinata bravely brought this heavily provocative story for the cinema consumption,intersecting 3 different stories in one big picture of love and pain, each from vastly different backgrounds and places.


    The first story,set it's story in happy perfect family.In her middle age,Salma later found out that her husband had another mistress.Jajang.C.Noer,as Salma,beautifully acted this role,and standing strong as a woman who remains faithful in her difficult relationship,a exhilarating yet outstanding performance by Jajang.C.Noer.A heartbreaking story with depth and hard-hitting script,and a winning performances by the casts.

    In the second set-up,singer Shanti,played Siti,perfectly!Her most grande and graceful performance in her entire career as an actress.The second story beautifully extracts how difficult the poligamy life is.Surreal,clever,and heartbreaking.


    And in the final set-up,Dominique,a Indonesian model,played the role of Ming,a waitress who desperate of attention and had an affair with her boss,a chef.The third intersection of the movie grandly displayed Ming's love affair in Ming's point of view,as a struggling actress,and a waitress,in the metropolitan town.The story displayed a strong contrast of a secret affair in the metropolitan backdrop.

    All three stories,packed in one-big-frame,with irressistible score,great depth in each story,and different style for each line-ups.Berbagi Suami is a cutting-edge and provoking movie about relationship,and successfully brought the message of woman empowerment and anti-sexist.

    The 360 Spin : Salute to Nia Dinata,for bringing such a powerful story to the surface.One of the best Indonesian movie powerhouse.

    One of our local movie. This movie is about sharing a huband's love with several women in one family. Defined from three different backgrounds. Allusive but amusing films. One of our finest :)
