Element of this film a contived beyond any question of believability, but it is still a great drama, and to date (2007), it's my favourite film from Shunji Iwai.
This is my BEST movie. Can't stop tears running. Also music is very good.

Love is an everlasting theme.
It lives in our memories and touches our heart.
it is the best time we have but we were so young that we ignored it. sad love story but warm.

this movie is a sad one...it's the first time fujii itsuki knows that the guy who had the same name as her had loved her....
The story is slow going. The story is good but can be boring at the start. And I hate the story telling of the childhood days stuff.
Haha. How complicated love letters can become, when falling into wrong hands :D That's basically the movie's message.
