Sweet coming of age comedy that perfectly captures the awkward high school years. Shatters "teen movie" clichés every step of the way. Corey Haim, who heads a talented cast, is excellent as the bespeckled, picked upon title charcater. Winona Ryder's film debut.
My aunt made me watch this when I was thirteen, insisting it was the best teen love movie ever made. At that time, I much rathered watching Romeo + Juliet.
It's all about Corey Haim's performance. The boy had some huge talent and great charm. He deserves a second chance in life.
The movie? Cheesy but compelling. One of my all time favorites: a total feel-good flick.
haha the only thing i remember from this movie is Lucas trying to show the coach how he can lower his center of gravity, its a lame rudy
Great 80's flick starring the Haimster. Quite a good cast. Strange why this didn't too well when it was first released.
