The South American jungle is the setting for Macumba Love, an exploitation film about the dark and mysterious practitioners of voodoo. A writer seeks to uncover the reason for a series of murders. His search brings him to the remote jungle and a forgotten tribe of natives beset by voodoo curses and wild dancing. He and his wife Sarah (June Wilkinson) soon find themselves endangered. The film's popularity was helped considerably with the appearance of Wilkinson, a former Playboy bunny.
